This article provides information on key dates for Gateway reporting, and Gateway funding applications and decisions.
Gateway reporting calendar
Please note that the following dates are a guide only and are subject to change.
| Month | Report | Description |
February | Unit Standard (for the previous year) | The Unit Standard report for the previous year is due by 5pm on the last Friday in February. |
March | Updated end-of-year Actuals (for the previous year) | Updated learner outcomes in the end-of-year Actuals report (submitted in December of the previous year) are due by the end of March. Note: This is to update learner outcomes that are of 'Not known' status, or that have changed since the report was originally submitted. |
July | Mid-year Actuals (for the current year) | The mid-year Actuals report is due by 5pm on the first Friday of Term 3. |
December | End-of-year Actuals (for the current year) | The end-of year Actuals report is due by 5pm on 20 December. |
Gateway funding calendar
Please note that the following dates are a guide only and are subject to change.
| Month | Type of funding application or decision | Description |
March | Additional funding round (for the current year) | Requests for additional funding for the current year are generally due mid-March. |
June | Indicative allocation (for the following year) | An email is sent advising your indicative allocation is available in Ngā Kete. This is the proposed Gateway funding amount for your school for the following year. |
August | Additional funding (for the following year) | Schools can apply for additional funding (for the following year) by the end of August. Note: Schools can apply if they think they'll need more funding than what was proposed in their indicative allocation (in June). |
October/November | Funding confirmation (for the following year) | A funding confirmation letter is uploaded to DXP Ngā Kete. The letter confirms your school's Gateway funding for the following year. |
